Communicable Diseases

If you have signs or symptoms associated with communicable diseases you are required to cancel your appointment. We expect patients to cancel appointments online prior to their appointment if they develop signs and symptoms of a communicable disease. If you have symptoms 2-3 days prior to your appointment you are expected to cancel your appointment and not wait until the day of your appointment to see if your symptoms subside. You can cancel appointments online if it is more than 48 hours before your schedueled appointment. This can be done by logging into your account or clicking the link in the booking or reminder email. In the event that you develop symptoms on the day of your appointment and need to cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice please contact your therapist directly or email the clinic to cancel. We also request that you cancel appointments if you are COVID positive and asymptomatic. I

If therapists are experiencing any cold and flu symptom they will contact their patients to cancel appointments and will not come to the clinic if they are symptomatic.

Massage Therapy is known to help decrease stress and help manage pain, however it is also effective in treating deeper structures in the body such as fascia, organs, bones, joints, blood vessels, nerves as well as other soft tissues in the body.

My approach to treatment uses various modalities such as Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation and a variety of different fascial techniques in order to provide a personal holistic approach to treatment in a happy, healthy, safe and healing environment.

Pam Cheema has been a RMT since 2001. Pam joined the Willingdon Heights Massage Therapy team in early 2020 and she is accepting new clients.

Pam has worked at various clinics in Vancouver, Burnaby and Maple Ridge for 19 years and 5 years in Edmonton, Alberta. Also, Pam has taught at a couple of massage therapy colleges. Currently, she is teaching part time at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in Vancouver downtown.

She has treated various conditions such as soft tissues injuries, tendonitis, ligament sprains, muscle strains, lower back tension, sciatica, headaches, and postural imbalances. Pam also has experience in providing massage therapy to pregnant women.

Pam provides Therapeutic Massage Therapy, Myofascial release, Pre-natal and Post-natal massage therapy, and Craniosacral Therapy.

She believes being aware of your own health is a key factor to a functional lifestyle. Pam wants to assist in achieving your optimal well-being goals through assessment, massage therapy, and self-care or preventative care exercises.

Bridget graduated from WCCMT in 2002. She has continued to upgrade her skills since graduation . She does not do full body or relaxation treatments. Her preferred area of practice is Myofascial based therapies such as Craniosacral Therapy, Craniomandibular Therapy, Visceral Manipulation and Biodynamic Fascial Therapy. She is not currently accepting new patients for evenings and weekend appointments She is currently only taking new patients for Craniosacral Therapy / Craniomandiblular Orthopedics and Visceral Manipulation.
